The first hours

The right first steps.

A few simple steps protect your family, your property and your claim. We can then take over the restoration.

01

Your safety first

Leave the premises if there is any danger. In an emergency, call 911. Do not enter an affected area without authorization.

02

Notify your insurer

Contact your insurer promptly and write down your claim number.

03

Document the damage

Take photos and videos of the rooms, belongings and visible damage before any cleanup.

04

Call us

We explain the next steps and schedule the restoration assessment.

Our services

Restore.
Rebuild.

We lead the reconstruction and, when needed, coordinate emergency work carried out by duly qualified partners.

Water damage and leaks

A leak, seepage, sewer backup or flood can damage the walls, ceilings, floors and other components of your building. Once moisture is under control and the premises are secure, we coordinate the restoration of the affected areas: drywall, insulation, flooring, cabinets and finishes.

Fire and smoke damage

After a fire, getting back to safe, welcoming spaces is essential. Once access is authorized and the required specialized work has been completed, we plan the repairs and reconstruction: selective demolition, walls, ceilings, carpentry, coverings and finishes.

Storms and severe weather

High winds and severe weather can damage a property's roof, exterior walls, doors and windows, and interior. We assess the restoration work and coordinate the appropriate repairs.

Complete interior reconstruction

When several trades are needed, we plan and coordinate the reconstruction of kitchens, bathrooms, basements, offices, commercial spaces and common areas.

Commercial disaster repair

Wherever possible, we adapt the sequence of work to your operational needs to support a controlled return to business.

Specialized partners

Water extraction, drying, decontamination, soot and odours: this work is handled by specialized companies. Depending on the file and their availability, we coordinate with qualified professionals.

Our method

At every step, you know what has been done, what comes next and who is handling it.

our answers.

Can I choose Tamgout Construction if my insurer suggests another contractor?

In general, property owners can choose their contractor. Settlement terms, costs and eligible work should, however, be clarified with the claims adjuster.

Should I contact my insurer before the work begins?

Contact your insurer promptly. Any urgent measures taken to prevent further damage should be documented; permanent repairs should be coordinated with the applicable approvals.

Can you handle only the reconstruction?

Yes. Tamgout Construction can step in after a specialized company has secured, cleaned and dried the premises.

How much will the work cost?

The cost depends on the area, the extent of the damage, the materials and the work required. A detailed estimate will define the work and its cost.

How long does a restoration take?

The timeline depends on preparatory work, approvals, materials and the availability of the trades involved. A projected schedule is provided after the assessment.

Do you work with businesses?

Yes, depending on the expertise required, available resources and the area served, for the repair and reconstruction of commercial premises.
